Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Backend Developer role at GoldBear Technologies in Podgorica. The Backend Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining server-side applications, developing new features in PHP Laravel projects, and integrating backend components with web services to ensure scalable and responsive applications. Daily tasks include troubleshooting and debugging, supporting frontend developers through backend logic, and collaborating closely with the wider development team to deliver robust solutions. You will have the opportunity to work on our international SaaS platform LimoExpress (https://limoexpress.app), used by clients worldwide, as well as contribute to internal product development and selected international projects. Starting in January 2026, you will also be involved in the development of a new SaaS product from scratch.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in PHP development (Laravel framework preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in backend or full-stack development
• Proficient in MySQL syntax and query writing
• Familiarity with REST architecture and web services integration
• Basic understanding of JavaScript (Vue.js knowledge is a plus)
• Understanding of Agile methodology and teamwork
• Basic knowledge of SOLID principles and unit testing
• Experience with servers, Linux, or cPanel
• Basic knowledge of Git version control
